Title:

Chas. Morton, another Midwinter Fair pickpocket, came west to show how cleaver [sic] he was and on March 6, 1894, was arrested at the Fair and sent to San Quentin for 2 years and on finishing his term in prison, left for the east stating that San Francisco was not such a "jay town" as he had been told it was.
