Description:
An early view of Miller Avenue facing Throckmorton Avenue. The large oak tree on the left is at that corner. Bernard Corner
and Lytton Square are also at the end of the street. Martin Wheeler's grocery store is the building at the far end of the
street with an arch on the second floor and a pointed tower on top. The train depot is on the right behind the trees. The
depot garden is behind the fence. The long, narrow sign on the left points to the Bellvue Hotel. The other sign says "Notice",
but the rest is undecipherable. There is also a one story building near the signs, which was the Laundromat Building. There
is a horse and flat bed wagon parked on the left side of the street facing the shops. The sign left of the horse reads "J.
M. Thran, Plumbing & Pipe Fitting. Bill Thran and his sister came from Bremen, Germany. Up the hill on the right, behind
Wheeler's grocery store is a house Under construction at 15 Tamalpais Avenue in the Coffin's Vineyard Haven.
