Content/DescriptionBust portrait of Ferdinand Maximilian Joseph, Archdukle of Austria, wearing plain black suit with a gold
medal (cross emblem) and small round brooch. In 1864, following the French occupation of Mexico City, Maximllian of Austria
was named emporer of Mexico. He was shot in 1867 after Mexican forces regained control of the country.
