Title:
U.S. Indian Reservation. You are now looking at Mrs. Florence Bullock, her daughter & grandchild sitting on the porch of the old log hut that was their home before the government took charge of these people. They are now using this for a smoke-house. I went down to the home of Charles Anderson who is the chief of this reservation for the purpose of photographing him & found him sick in bed & not expected to live. He has been sick about one and a half yrs (1 1/2) & this was the closest I came to finding an Indian family at home as everyone else was engaged in their work in the fields.Creator:
