Fremont School after 1923 renovations (later became Fremont Junior High School.), named for the explorer, soldier, and first presidential candidate of the new Republican Party of 1856; located at 616 West Center Street (now Lincoln Ave.), Anaheim; original building purchased in 1911 from Anaheim Union High School district, redesigned in 1923; demolished in 1937 and new building (see P6078) dedicated in 1939, closed in 1979.
