St. Boniface Catholic Church, built in 1879, second building located on Cypress Street between the jail and the pumping plant, on a lot donated by the Anaheim Union Water Co.; replaced the first building constructed in 1870 on the same site; measuring 42 feet by 20 feet, this building was erected in three weeks at a cost of $1,000; image shows small group of people in front of the white, clapboard building; an unidentified residence is visible to the right.
