Anaheim Landing, located at the NE corner of Seal Beach Blvd. and Electric Ave, in what is now known as Seal Beach (incorporated
1915); in 1857, the Anaheim Lighter Company (Frederick Schneider, president) established Anaheim Landing as a port for the
Santa Ana Valley; despite treacherous entrance conditions that caused several disasters, regular coastwise trade was carried
on here for about 15 years; image, divided across two postcards, shows landing with pier and telegraph wires, figures standing
on shore and in several small boats; printed across lower left corner with "BAY CITY AT ANAHEIM LANDING."
