The cathedral spires from across a corner of the parque central. this is the largest church edifice in the central America. Its building had been begun before the earthquake of 1931 but its completion became part of the construction of the new city, which rose from the site of the old one which was almost demolished by that disaster. Managua, Nicaragua, C.A.
