Everson Hall, Social Living Room. The Social Living Room in the new Home Economics Building on the Davis campus of the University of California is designed as a laboratory where students can apply many of the principles they learn in their home economics courses. Here students can learn proper serving methods for various sizes of social groups. The furnishings were specially selected to show examples of good designs in contemporary styles. Cabinets built into the walls are for storage.
