Description
Pfc. David Gonzales, who fought and died in the Philippines during World War Two, was posthumously awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor.
Tribute to Hero--The Flag-draped casket of Pfc. David M. Gonzales, only Los Angeles Medal of Honor winner in the last war, is carried from Church of Our Lady of Talpa after official ceremonies. Gonzales gave life in Philippines to save three others from death.
