Full title:It did not take the George Yamasaki youngsters long to find some friendly Caucasian playmates when they arrived
in Sunnyvale from Heart Mountain a fortnight ago. Shown here, they are photographed with Delano and Eddie Kirkish, whose father
owns the largest department store in Sunnyvale, California. The Yamasaki family is housed temporarily with Tsunekichi Sasao
and his daughter, Bessie, who is employed as a secretary in the San Jose office of WRA. And what makes the arrangement more
chummy is both families are occupying the old home until the Mike Kirkish family, department store operators, can find housing
and make the big Sasao home available to them. We are a bit crowded but being back home is worth a lot of inconvenience is
the way Bessie put it. Shown here left to right, front row are: Delano Kirkish, Clark, Herbert, Pearl and Eugene Yamasaki.
Back row: Mrs. Helene Yamasaki, Bessie Sasao, her father, Tsunekichi, and Eddie Kirkish. Everyone old enough is hard at work
in the California fruit harvest.<lb/> Photographer: Iwasaki, Hikaru<lb/> Sunnyvale, California.
