Joe Carl Thoman, Jr., grandson of Carl Sandburg, poet and biographer, plays with Sanao Imoto, Mr. Sandburg's secretary, at the entrance to the Thoman home adjoining the Sandburg goat farm. Joe Carl and Sanao are close friends and spend many happy hours together.<lb/> Harbert, Michigan.
