Description:
Exterior photograph of the Banning Woman's Club in Banning, California.
The Banning Woman's Club house was built in 1914. As a member of the ""Rules Committee"" for the new club house I quote a
side remark that was made at one of the meetings; ""We won't rent this house on Sunday for any church services. We've got
enough churches in Banning; the Baptist Church, the Methodist Church and the Catholic Church up at the Indian School. Since
that time most of the churches have used the Club House either before they have built or during the time of building a new
church!""
