The Photograph Series are a mixture of color and black and white images reflecting Crane's personal and professional life. The photographs are arranged alphabetically into five subseries: Suberies 1. Harry Crane; Subseries 2. Baseball; Subseries 3. Family; Subseries 4. People and show business; Subseries 5. Social gatherings and trips. Included in the series are candid and publicity photographs of Crane by himself and/or with family, friends, and/or colleagues. Additionally, there are a small number of photographs that do not include Crane. The photographs give a glimpse of Crane's lengthy show business career relationships, document social gatherings including Harry Crane birthday celebrations, unknown social events and trips, and give proof to his passion for baseball. Additionally, there are a small number of photographs of Crane's family. Among those pictured are Barbara, Stephanie, Lillian and Harry Crane, Melissa and Sarah Gilbert, Milton Berle, Steve Allen and Jayne Meadows, Jerry Lewis, Dean Martin, Jackie Gleason, and Andy Williams among others. Most of the photographs are not dated, but it is likely they represent the 1940s-1980s. Each subseries is arranged alphabetically by file titles that reflect the contents of the folders.
