The Cora L. Williams Institute for Creative Education was founded in 1918 by Cora L. Williams. It eventually become Williams College, a four year private libreral arts college in Berkeley, Calif., also included a preparatory school, a school of research, a school of poets, a school of artists, and a school of metaphysical inquiry. The aim of the founder was to offer creative methods of instrution. The school was housed in the Spring Mansion on San Antonio Rd. in Berkeley, Calif. Not to be confused with Williams College in Williamstown, Mass.
