Sylvia McLaughlin (December 24, 1916-January 19, 2016) co-founded Save the San Francisco Bay Association in 1961 with Catherine
"Kay" Kerr and Esther Gulick (which then changed its name to Save the Bay in 2008). She was a major player in the local and
national environmental communities.
