Abstract:
Album contains 481 black and white photographs taken in the Philippines, primarily in Manila, Baguio, and San Juan. Images
include churches, old Spanish forts, bridges, cemeteries, monuments; ships coming to and from the Philippines; indigenous
peoples, village scenes, agriculture, and scenic views; carnivals and parades; automobiles and street scenes. Includes several
photos of deceased Moro rebels and executions. Some photos are of several Caucasian men, women, and children, one of which
is the owner of the album, probably an American. A separate set of photos in the back of the album includes photos of American
Expeditionary Force in Vladivostok (Russia) and several of Nagasaki port (Japan). There are some loose photos that appear
to be enlargements and duplicates of some of the Philippines photographs.
