Holograph letter written on official stationey of the Office of the New Granada Canal & Steam Navigation Company, 4 Wall Street, New York by Henry Wells, President, to Captain J. T. Morrill of the Steamship Osprey. The letter authorizes Morrill to take the Osprey to Kingston, Jamaica, San Juan de Nicaragua [San Juan del Norte, Nicaragua], Carthagena [Cartagena, Colombia], St. Marta, New Granada [Santa Marta, Colombia] for business purposes, including transactions with Davidson Colthirst & Co..
