Abstract:
One holograph letter written and signed by Norman McLeod, a Congregationalist minister, to Rev. Dr. Leonard Bacon about being
rejoiced that the first Church of Jesus Christ, (Congregational) Utah can be represented in the National Council and Dr. Mechling,
a worthy member of the Church, was chosen as a delegate to represent the Church. He describes the Mormons in his congregation
and the success he has had with them, but he still needs aid to be sent from the East.
