Abstract:

Photograph album documenting travels of a group of likely American tourists in and around Monterrey, Mexico. Subjects include bullfighting, various landmarks in Monterrey (Palacio Municipal, Governor's Palace of Nuevo León, and the city's Cathedral) and other points of interest such as hotels, shops and parks; horseback riding; locals, including indigenous persons and, perhaps, tour guides; natural scenery; and others persons who may be the tourists who compiled the album. Includes 3 small panoramic views, folded and adhered inside the front and back covers, depicting an apparent horseback camping excursion. One image depicts a Northern Pacific Railway "Yellowstone Park Line" train at an unidentified station.
