Snapshot photographs documenting social activities of Michael Charles DeCarlo of Redondo Beach, particularly gay pride parades,
drag parties and other gatherings he attended in Los Angeles, San Francisco and elsewhere, chiefly in the 1970s and 1980s.
Images include pride parade scenes of participants and spectators, nightclub and bar scenes, and scenes taken at private parties
often depicting gay men in drag. Also includes scenes from a gay pride parade in New Orleans, the Eagle nightclub in Amsterdam,
and perhaps events in other locations. DeCarlo is depicted throughout the collection. Also includes a few scenes of DeCarlo
working in a hair salon, and miscellaneous ephemera (business cards, Tom of Finland handbill, etc.).
