Neatly presented photograph album containing chiefly snapshots documenting the life of California native and resident Masahuru
Minamiji during World War II, particularly his internment at Manzanar War Relocation Center, and his military training at
Camp Barkeley, Texas. Minamiji is depicted throughout the album. Also includes formal and informal portraits -- presumably
of friends, family members and fellow soldiers -- most of them Japanese-Americans. Includes a small number of views of Abilene,
Texas; an original watercolor view of Manzanar; and a group portrait depicting attendees of a funeral posing outside of God
Is Love Protestant Church, likely at Manzanar.
