Greeting cards, correspondence, and other documents of Shigeru (Robert) and Dorothy Matsuda of Oakland, California; correspondence to and from Oakland attorney Max Yonemura about establishing birthplace and citizenship of Hatsumi Hirashima (1955-1956); school report cards and other materials relating to Stephen Matsuda; one handwritten crochet and one handwritten knitting pattern; a 1943 letter from James G. Lindeley, Director of the War Relocation Authority, Granada Project, Amache, Colorado to Sadako Viola Nakano issuing clearance to take employment or resident in the Eastern Defense Command and in other areas; a flyer (1946) from Thomas J. Mahan, Acting District Relocation Officer in Oakland announcing the employment of Jane Davis to assist with the resettlement of Japanese Americans; a document (1945) with special orders from the Army Services Forces, Seventh Service Command, Fort Francis E. Warren, Wyoming (listing Shigeru R.
