Views from her travels in Pakistan, Greece, and Uganda, and of native American tribes in California and Arizona. Also, copy photographs and color slides of 19th century images used in her research on Henry Raschen and Jean Jacques Vioget as well as color snapshots of a house designed by Julia Morgan.

Transferred from the Mary Jean Kennedy papers (BANC MSS 99/270c).
University of California at Berkeley anthropologist. Kennedy did her early fieldwork among the San Carlos Apache, the Karok, the Yokuts, and the Kashaya Pomo. In the mid-1950s, she was one of the first American anthropologists to work in Pakistan, and in the 1960s she worked among the Karamajong, a tribe in Uganda. In the late 1970s she worked among the Yurok.
