Psychedelic posters promoting various concerts by Moonalice, mostly in San Francisco, and many taking place on the April 20
counterculture holiday in celebration of marijuana and cannabis culture. Posters feature artwork by prominent artists associated
with psychedelic art of the San Francisco Bay Area, including some who were famous in the 1960s during the Summer of Love
era -- e.g. Wes Wilson, Lee Conklin, David Singer, Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley. Events include 420 Tribal Pow Wow (April
20, 2013; 7 different posters); Moonalice concert of December 1, 2013; various Moonalice concerts from 2014; The Fall Risk
concert (December 2, 2014; 7 different posters); 420 Gathering of the Tribe (April 19, 2015; 18 different posters); 420 Gathering
of the Tribe (April 20, 2016; 20 different posters); and a Moonalice concert of August 16, 2017. Many illustrations include
a female figure that alludes to Lewis Carroll's Alice and her adventures. Also includes 7 political posters produced by some
of the same artists during the 2016 U.S. Presidential campaign, most of them expressing opposition to Donald J. Trump. Oversize
folder contains an anti-Trump poster by Wes Wilson.
