Abstract:

Includes numerous portraits and group portraits, chiefly of unidentified sitters; local business exteriors and interiors; tradesmen, laborers, firefighters, and others; home exteriors; mines and dredges; agricultural equipment; and parades. Portraits include numerous studio portraits of Chinese men, women, and children. Children are often posed with toys or bicycles.
