Abstract:

The bulk of the collection contains material prepared by legal counsel for use in pending suit brought against the San Francisco Unified School District. These include plantiff exhibits, attorney drafts and notes; production requests from the law firm; research materials, subject files and publications on integration within the SFUSD, public education and housing; building capacity, needs and utilization studies, charts and data, statistics, annotated maps of the SFUSD, meeting minutes, reports, proposals, memoranda, correspondence, attendance and enrollment printouts and newspaper articles. The collection also includes materials related to the David Johnson Case, some NAACP branch files and files from Peter Esainko.
