A series of 9 large landscape-oriented cards titled "Me and the Dog," containing a poem, a cartoon, and a short message, advertising
the Jo Anderson Print Shop at 416 J Street, Sacramento. Also included is a card of thanks to Mr. Howell D. Melvin, a recipient
of the "Me and the Dog" cards, in an envelope postmarked August 28, 1929.

Note:
Joseph M. Anderson was a partner in the Carrington and Anderson print shop at 912 5th Street in Sacramento by 1898. By 1901,
still at the same location, its name had changed to Pacific Printing House. By 1906 the business had moved to 416 J Street
and was known as Anderson and Treicher. By 1913 it had become the Joseph M. Anderson Print Shop (rather than "Jo Anderson
Print Shop" as stated on these cards), and in 1918 became Anderson Printing Company, under which name the shop stayed in business
until 1942. Joseph M. Anderson passed away in Sacramento on September 7, 1961.
