Formal portraits and snapshots documenting the family of Francisco Lee Sohu, a Chinese immigrant who settled in Tampico, Mexico
where he worked as a dentist. Collection depicts family life of the Sohus, including Francisco ("Pancho") and his wife Luz
("Luchita") Monjaráz; their children Berta, Adelaida, María Elisa and Armando; and some of their grandchildren. Also includes
approximately 80 color slides from the 1980s depicting various locations in Mexico. Also includes miscellaneous family papers:
birth notices for Berta Isaura Sohu; letters from Francisco to Luz written in the early years of their marriage between 1915
and 1918; a business card of Francisco's; and other papers. Also includes portraits of at least one other Chinese family.
Oversize folder (AX) contains a studio portrait of Francisco and Luz.
