Note:

Alfred E. Beaumont was born in Eureka, CA on August 2, 1887. He left home to enter the United States Army on November 25, 1917, embarked for France on March 30, 1918, and saw much action there toward the end of the war. Beaumont left France on June 7, 1919, and was discharged in San Francisco on the 27th. He was a printer in civilian life, and by World War II was working for Eureka Newspapers, Inc, publisher of the "Humboldt Times." Beaumont died in Eureka on April 26, 1968, survived by his wife Lillie.
