Note:
C. E. Thomsen lived in Kingman Arizona during the 1890s and was involved with mining interests, notably the Juno and Lone
Star mines. He later moved to Reno, Nevada.
Jeremiah Lynch was born in Massachusetts and came to California when he was nine years old. He entered the baking powder business
with his uncle in 1870, became involved in mining four years later, and was eventually president of the San Francisco Stock
and Mining Exchange. In 1892 Lynch was elected to the first of three terms in the California State Legislature, and was defeated
for a Democratic nomination for United States Senator by Stephen M. White. In 1898 Lynch joined the gold seekers in the Klondike,
amassed a fortune, and later became an Egyptologist. He died in Redding, California in 1917.
