Miscellaneous photographs perhaps once belonging to Alfred Louis Kroeber. Collection Includes files on indigenous peoples
of Peru (taken approximately in the mid-1920s) and Chile (e.g. Chiu Chiu, Arica, Cobija); skulls and pottery from Peru associated
with artificial deformation and "pathological conditions"; and portraits of Max Uhle and Julio César Tello. Some materials
are annotated with layout marks for publication. Oversize (AX) folder pertains strictly to Chiu Chiu, Chile.
