Abstract:
Two sets of time-roll sheets for employees of the Carson and Colorado Railway Co., operating between Keeler, Calif. and Mound
House, Nev. The first consists of a monthly sheet per station, which lists employees by name, occupation, number of days worked,
wages per day, and amount due. The second consists of a monthly sheet per numbered section [of track?], which lists the name
of the foreman, number of days worked, rate of pay, and amount due for station, train, and track repairs and service. Work
done by Chinese laborers is also accounted for on these time sheets, but workers are not listed by name. A photocopy of a
contemporary map of the railroad line provided by the dealer is also included.
