Biography
Artemisia Draper Anderson (1858-after 1927) was a Mormon housewife and
poet. She lived for most of her life with her husband, Ephraim, and their seven
children, in Moroni, Utah. Mrs. Anderson wrote chiefly about her family,
friends, church and the flora, fauna and geography of Utah. Mr. Franklin Beard
gave Holt-Atherton a photocopy of Mrs. Anderson's 158 page notebook in 1982.
The original remains in the family's possession.

This collection consists of a photocopy of Artemisia
Anderson’s 158-page poetry notebook, a photograph of Mrs. Anderson, and a typed
transcription of the notebook.
