Biography
Artemisia Draper Anderson (1858-after 1927) was a Mormon housewife and poet. She lived
for most of her life with her husband, Ephraim, and their seven children, in Moroni,
Utah. Mrs. Anderson wrote chiefly about her family, friends, church and the flora, fauna
and geography of Utah. Mr. Franklin Beard gave Holt-Atherton a photocopy of Mrs.
Anderson's 158 page notebook in 1982. The original remains in the family's possession.
