SCOPE AND CONTENT

Summary: A handwriten copy, all in the same handwriting, of the company record kept by three successive diarists of the La Grange Company as it proceeded from Texas to California over the Southern Routes in 1849. It is unusual in being an official record of a Gold Rush company, not the more common personal type of account.
