Description
These records consist of files on reports and papers published by IFG which include the text of the paper or report, with some correspondence, memoranda, press releases, and other materials. Authors represented by a number of publications include Michael W. Kirst, Henry M. Levin, Russell W. Rumberger, and Hans N. Weiler.
Background
The Institute for Research on Educational Finance and Governance (IFG) was established in 1979 with a five-year committment from the National Institute of Education; it was administered through the School of Education at Stanford University. Its research program focused on educational finance and economics, educational politics, educational organizations, and law and education.
