ABSTRACT
Includes a holograph document dated 18 July 1791 and signed by Branciforte granting
permission for Fr. Benito Senchordi to travel to the province of San Diego; a holograph
document signed by Jose Maria Ximenez dated 1813 in Salvatierra recording a dispute
between Jose Rafael Escandon and Joaquin Mercado over the sale of a house, as well as the
outcome of arbitration; a holograph document signed by Franco. Alberto requesting
supplicatory letters for alms collection by two priests; two completed certificates (in
Latin) of ordination in the names of Franciscum Castro Zambrano (22 Dec. 1770) and
Joannem Ortega (1790); a bachelor of arts degree certificate completed in 1819 in the
name of Joseph Mariano Barveno y Hernandez from the Real y Pontificia Universidad de
Mexico, and a printed list of Discalced Carmelite prelates at an April 1834 meeting.
