All the Peirce Family Papers donated by Miss Rosamond Peirce, Mrs. Forrest J. Kincade and Mrs. Carolyn Peirce Brown, are open for inspection and research with the following limitations:

1. Publication rights are reserved by the donors to themselves or persons designated by them, and to the children of Carolyn P. Brown (Elizabeth Brown Gordon, James P. Brown, and Peter H. Brown) during the life-times of the donors and for five years after the death of the last surviving donor.

2. Photocopies may only be made with the written permission of the donors or any one of the donors acting for all of the donors.

3. Short quotations not related to George H. Peirce, his immediate family, or his career in Manila, may be published without permission of the donors at the discretion of the Manuscripts Librarian.

Notice of the above restrictions will appear on the patron use form for the researchers wishing to use this collection. The patron's signature on that form indicates agreement to adhere to these conditions.
