    ABSTRACT

A transcription ofthe original manuscript done in 1896-1897 by A. G. J. Bricknell. The poems are arranged in chronological order, occasionally interrupted with notes by the transcriber.

Joseph Higgins, 1751-1832, was a resident of Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, until 1816. His remaining years were lived out in London. Two of his literary works were longer poems: The Saviour of the World (1819) and Free Will and Free Grace (1820), both published privately.
