Yellow vinyl banner with blue lettering. Banner measures 4 feet tall, 19.5 feet long; was meant to be seen from a distance. Banner reads in entirety: Powell Library [line break] Commencement Open House [line break] Saturday, June 17 and Sunday, June 18 - 11am-3pm.

Scope and Content

Boxes 23-24 contain the "Clues" notebooks of College Librarian and Rare Books Librarian James Davis. The handwritten questions and comments regarding both general and UCLA-specific library issues were submitted to Davis. Responses were posted to a publicly viewable bulletin board in College (Powell) Library. Prior to this set up, such notes were part of the “Notes in the Stalls” program of posting notes in College Library restroom stalls.
