    Biography

    Marie Antoinette Bryant (1917-) completed an M.A. degree in Inter-American Studies at the University of the Pacific in 1971. She was concurrently an English instructor at Covell College, UOP's unique Spanish-language undergraduate college (1965-1974). Her research focus was 20th century Guatemalan literature, and, in particular, the writings of leftist, Jose Maria Lopez Valdizon.

    Scope and Content

    The Bryant Collection consists chiefly of the notes, slides and interview transcriptions Mrs. Bryant compiled during a 1967 visit to J.M. Lopez Valdizon in Guatemala.
