Description
The American Association of University Women Pasadena California Branch Papers (1934-1990) includes annual reports, minutes of meetings, bulletins, scrapbooks and annual yearbooks, which list the Association bylaws and constitution, membership lists and meeting dates.
Background
The Pasadena Branch of the American Association of University Women was founded in November 1934. As stated in its constitution and bylaws the goals of the Association were to continue the intellectual growth of college women; promote the advancement of women (with emphasis on higher education); and serve the community.
