Abstract: Raw footage of interviews with Western journalists and Sovietologists, relating to the
death of Soviet leader Joseph Stalin in 1953, and to subsequent political change and
de-Stalinization in the Soviet Union. Used in production of The Death of Stalin, a
documentary film produced by the National Broadcasting Company, and of a sequel film, The
Rise of Khrushchev. Includes transcripts of the interviews and of the finished programs.
