Biography
Daniel McCall was born in Florida, October 30, 1826 and his brother was born in the same state September 12, 1829. The family
moved to Alabama in 1835. Daniel came to California with Alfred Spinks in 1850 and mined gold at Beam's Bar near Mormon Island.
Charles joined his brother at Mormon Island in 1851, returning to Alabama in 1855. Daniel, a doctor, died December 16, 1897.
Charles, a judge, died October 12, 1900.
