Louis Bartlett was born in San Francisco, California, on September 20, 1872. He was known for his support of public utilities,
as well as his service as the Mayor of Berkeley, California from 1919-1923.
The collection consists of correspondence, reports, documents, and memoranda, relating to California's Central Valley Project,
Lake Tahoe, East Bay Municipal Utility District, Pacific Gas and Electric Company, and public water and power supply system
for other California municipalities.
