Description
Letters, mss. of his writings and clippings, relating mainly to his career in Stockton, Calif., as editor of The Forum and No Taxes, newspapers advocating Henry George's single tax theory. A few letters and clippings concern his newspaper career in New Mexico and in Atascadero, Calif., and the Atascadero Colony.

With these: some letters written to his father, Fred C. Beckwith, 1892-1905, concerning mining interests in Arizona and California.
