The Graduate Theological Union Student Association was begun in 1968. Though the records in this collection run only to 1972, the Association did not end in that year. An ending date is unknown. As stated in 1970, like everything else at the GTU, the Association was "of recent origin and is in a continuous state of process. However, three basic needs called it into being:
