Notarized transcription of a file of documents concerning payment to the Dominican missionaries in Baja California. The first part of the file presents evidence of the missionaries' behavior, lists the heads of the missions, and gives 1793 and 1794 mission census results. These documents were originally signed by Francisco Roa and Jose Joaquin de Arrillaga, commandants of the Royal Presido of Loreto. The second part of the file concerns the agricultural production of the area. These documents were originally signed by Alba, Branciforte and others. The transcription was apparently made in 1795 and is signed by Ldo. Pedro Martinez.
