Scope and Content

The papers of Berkeley architect Howard Moïse, who also taught at the University of California in Berkeley, came to the Bancroft Library via the Gift Division of the Main Library from Professor Moïse's estate, in July 1965.

The collection contains business files regarding the construction or alteration of residences, accounts, some correspondence, and miscellaneous information relating to Moïse's career as architect, and also lecture notes and other material pertaining to courses given at the University.
