Two items, both probably in Greenlandic Inuit (i.e. kalaallisut or grønlandsk).
One bound, mostly holograph. Name Tobias Fisker[?] appears several times. Inserted is loose color plate with caption "Tegning af Gronlaenderinden Dalarak fra Umanark," from Erichsen & Moltke's Grønland's llustreret Skildring Af Den Danske Literære Grønlandsekspeditions Rejser I Melvillebugten: Og Opold Blandt Jordens Nordligst Boende Mennesker-Polareskimoerne, 1903-1904 (København: Gyldendal, 1906).
Accompanied by smaller printed songbook (partial) with annotations, pages 25-48 of Mathias Storch's NãmagsivoK: ánáussissivta Jîsusip Kristusip ániarneranik toKuneranigdlo oKalugtuaK (Nûk: Ilíniarfigssûp naK, 1940).

Scope and Contents

Pencil note next to poems in back: "The following poems copied by William C. Bryant the poet for Nancy Kellogg in 1820." Kellogg was probably the Nancy Kellogg of Great Barrington, Massachusetts who was involved in raising Timothy Hopkins and with her two sisters ran the Rose Cottage Seminary (whose schoolhouse had once been Bryant's law office).
